The Executive Administrator provides critical high-level administrative oversight of EPO operations in Smarter Balanced. The incumbent serves as a key advisor overseeing administrative services while helping to establish strategic goals, operational objectives, and work plans. The Executive Administrator delegates assignments across the organization related to operations and planning and is responsible for preparing, administering, and directing resources. Success in this role requires ingenuity, discretion, and flexibility.

Uses advanced knowledge of product management and development practices to resolve a wide range of complex issues in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Manages the roadmap and development of multiple products and enhancements—including an innovative new product—of diverse scope, size, impact and budget within the Smarter Balanced Reporting suite. Demonstrates creativity and ingenuity in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to complex design, financial, marketing, or administrative problems. Builds requirements, prioritizes roadmap enhancements, creates long-term integration plans, and facilitates product development life cycle of aspects of the reporting product. Interfaces with membership to establish deep understanding of member needs and layered user personas to drive customer satisfaction and achieve business impact. Oversees product development work of two staff.
